The Story So Far....

We are sweet lovers, we can’t get enough sweets, we never grew out of them and it seems that most of you feel the same. The UK is a nation of sweet lovers, from child to adult. We all have a soft spot for sweets. Sweets are for sale everywhere...soft sweets, hard sweets, fizzy sweets, where ever you go, you are sure to find them.

We thought about all the times we have been guests at people’s houses and give them a box of chocolates or a bottle of wine, which is so bog-standard and boring.  Sweets would make a much nicer gift but we can’t turn up clutching a few bags of Haribo, we need to hand our host a smorgasbord of sweets that will make their mouths water. We need it to look good, we need it to present well. We want to see excitement in their eyes. In short, we were looking for a sweet assortment that screams “Buy me!”

 

After spending over a year doing research, attending numerous exhibitions and following packaging trends in-stores and online,we were truly getting fed up of the run-of-the-mill sweet presentations. Surely one of our nation’s best past-times deserves something better? A product that you can’t walk past in the shops, a new and exciting purchase, a gift, a visual feast, an impulse buy you just had to have. A product that looks so good that every kid in the country will want to have it as a table centrepiece for their birthday party!

We want a product that screams at you “Wow, buy me, eat me!” 

 

Thus began our journey to the Candy Case.

 

There was nothing like it anywhere. We knew early on this was the beginning of a brand new and exciting sweet concept.

 

A product that looks so good that every kid in the country will want to have it as a table centrepiece for their birthday party!
